Cathedral

L'ex Napalm Death, Lee Dorrian (chant), forme en 1990 le groupe Cathedral avec les guitaristes Gary Jennings et Adam Lehan, le bassiste Mark Griffiths et le batteur Ben Mochrie. Moins trash métal que Napalm Death, Cathedral sort le maxi In Memorium puis son premier album Forest Of Equilibrium en 1991. L'année suivante, le groupe signe le maxi Soul Sacrifice puis atterrit chez le label Columbia. En 1993, Cathedral enregistre l'album The Ethereal Mirror puis Adam Lehan, Mark Griffiths et le nouveau batteur Mark Wharton quittent le groupe. Le bassiste Leo Smee et le batteur Brian Dixon intègrent la formation qui signe l'album The Carnival Bizarre en 1995. Suivent Supernatural Birth Machine (1996) et Caravan Beyond Redemption (1998).
